Dear Friend of the Arts,

The Inverse Opera is moving into a season of growth and change. Not only are we busy working on our back-by-popular-demand remount of Handel’s Messiah, opening next month at Taproot’s Isaac Studio, but we are also pleased and proud to announce our growing partnership with the highly lauded SecondStory Repertory in Redmond.  Our concert  at SSR is this coming December, featuring the works of Golden Age Composers. We are at the forefront of supporting new art and artists; we have contracted over 31 artists and technicians in December alone. We have a lot to celebrate! Including a new mission statement:

The Inverse Opera creates musical experiences that emphasize the storytelling ability of the trained voice while engaging the mind and celebrating the spirit of our community.

In 2015, we plan to:

*Create original programming that honors groups within our community.

*Produce work that engages patrons across all generations

*Provide a home to aspiring young storytellers where they can learn from successful performing artists, technicians, directors and arts administrators.

Along with these exciting changes comes the need to create an operational budget to help us plan for the future, and that’s where you come in.

We invite you to join us as we invest in the future of Seattle Art!

Our overall goal is to raise $15,000 by February 28, 2015 – we  hope to start big with a $5,000 goal by then end of 2015.

We are calling this fundraising campaign Operation Regeneration! I personally hope you will join us on this exciting journey of growth. The Inverse Opera would not have lasted these three years without the continuous support of our donors and dedicated artists. We are over the moon thankful for your constant attendance and we hope you will join us for the next stage of our growth. Thank you for listening to our stories and enjoying our music.
